Call for past students - Reunion

REUNION - A New Zealand Secondary College Committee is searching around the globe for past students of Wanganui organisations for a centennial reunion planned for February 2011.

All past students, staff members of Wanganui Tech, Wanganui Boys, (and now) Wanganui City College are asked to get involved for registrations for the Centennial Reunion planned for February 2011.

The on-line registration system is up and running. Please register now at www.2011reunion.co.nz as discounted "Early Bird" registrations apply till July 2010. Some may have received a registration form by post, but addresses for many thousands of others are unknown. The reunion is on in Wanganui, February 18 - 20 2011 and preliminary details are on the website. This is expected to be a very large event as within living memory of even the oldest past students, there have been over 20,000 students through the school, excluding past staff.

Please pre-register now, and if you know of other students, staff etc, who may not have seen this message, either contact them or send us their email address and we will contact them. A Postal address is P.O. Box 7144 Wanganui.

This will be a great opportunity to catch up with past and current friends especially if we all make the effort to register and attend.

Many people living overseas are indicating they plan to be back for this event, so it is vital that reservations are made now, including motel accommodation. Please also make a point of contacting or reminding other friends or family who went to the college, to ensure they also register soon.
